Johann Heyss started off working with music, words and esotericism at a very young age. When he was twelve he got a flash job at a local downtown newspaper in Rio de Janeiro . There he published chronicles and poems in four issues. In adolescence he started doing music and drama classes, studying English and researching esotericism. So that's how nowadays Johann Heyss (stage/pen name adopted at 18 y.o.) divides his time between three careers; as a musician, a translator, and an author.

As a musician, he has released three albums, performed in cities such as Rio, São Paulo and New York, has put out videoclips and now works at his fourth album and also produces and writes – with partner Sintetik – for singer-actress Marilia Barbosa's new album.

As an author he has published four books on esotericism in Brasil , USA , Germany and Czech Republic . Right now he's working at finishing his first novel and his biography for British controversial magician Aleister Crowley.

As a translator and revisor he's got around forty books published by Record, Nova Era and Harlequin.
